Antique Glass Furniture Stem Casters

Ultra-rare set of 4 LARGE furniture casters with luscious, extra-thick clear glass wheels. Original swivel sleeves (extremely rare; it usually takes me years of searching to find). Faultless Caster Company of Nebraska City, Nebraska, dated November 8th, 1892.

• Will raise your piece 3”
• 2 1/2" diameter, 1 1/8" wide wheels
• 2 1/4" long, 9/16" wide sleeves

Great condition. Forks do show finish wear; sleeves show oxidation.

Still in their original 1930’s cardstock package, here’s a set of 4 swivel furniture casters. Small mounting plate to fit narrow furniture legs. Steel forks with antique bronze finish. Black rubber wheels to be kind to your flooring. Ball bearing swivel mechanism. Unused, new old stock- each caster wrapped in tissue. Diamond Arrow brand by Bassick Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Refurbished set of four swivel casters- very heavy duty for their small size due to thick cast iron, high quality construction, and wide wheel. By M. B. Schenck & Company of Meriden, CT, dated to the 1880s. New wood mounting screws included.

• 2 x 2 5/8 inch mounting plates

Near pristine condition- excellent cosmetic and operational condition, but does show a small chipped area on the wheel hub (see highlighted area in close-up); I guarantee this will never be an issue unless being used for extremely heavy duty utilitarian use. Scoured with power wire brushes to remove all rust, hand washed, moving parts lubricated. Ready for installation.

Ultra-rare, extra-large set of Victorian ball & claw furniture feet. Cast iron with solid clear glass orb.

• 5 3/4 inch overall height
• 3 inch diameter ball
• Tapered opening measures 1 3/8 inch inside diameter at the top; 2 3/4 inches deep.

Good condition. Scoured with power wire wheels to remove loose rust, then washed. No chips/cracks to cast iron. Glass spheres do show wear.

Antique Industrial Stem Casters

1930s’ set of 4 heavy duty swivel stem casters. Thick cast iron wheels in steel forks. Ball bearing swivel mechanism under top plate. Although the threaded stem was designed to be bolted to a factory cart, today it’s ideal for mounting to slim table legs (an extremely rare configuration for such a heavy duty antique caster). By The Colson Company of Elyria, Ohio.

• Will raise your piece 4 1/2 inches
• 3 1/2 inch diameter, 1 1/4 inch wide wheels
• 2 inch long, 3/4 inch diameter stem on 2 5/8 inch diameter mounting plate

These are small, light duty casters I recommend only for a fairly lightweight piece (100-150 lbs?) that would not see heavy use.
