Antique Industrial Angled Wall Shelf Brackets

Recently acquired stash of 1800s' typesetter’s Union Reversible Brackets. Cast iron with remnants of original black paint. Reversible feature: bracket can be placed in wall-mounted socket to create either a forward-angled or flat shelf. Will accommodate an 8 1/2" deep shelf in angled position; deeper (10"?) in flat position.

Bracket measures 9" long, 2 1/4" high. Socket is 3 1/4" high and 1 1/2" wide.

Antique Wrought Iron Corner Brackets

Am excited to have found a couple more sets of hand wrought corner brackets in an antique rustic style!

Years ago, I had several similar sets acquired from an old cabinetmaker in Santa Fe who acquired them in Mexico in the 1940s. I quickly sold out of them, but the requests keep coming in. Was lucky to have come across these. No two are alike. Each has been hand wrought, forged and hammered. These are NOT mass produced, die-cut elements as seen everywhere.
