Antique Industrial Towsley Factory Cart Iron Wheels from Iron Anarchy
What a find! Super rare pair of MASSIVE cast iron wheels in an ornate spoke design.
From the late 1800s by J. T. Towsley of Cincinnati, Ohio for their #27 cart. Made using the sand casting technique where sand is compacted around a wooden model to form the mold which is then cast in iron, destroying the mold upon removal of the wheel.
I believe these to be unused new old stock; I scrubbed off a thick layer of rust, but no signs of wear and remnants of the original black painted finish. You will not come across anything like these again.

Ideal for your industrial pallet coffee table, here's a dope set of 4 aged casters in a dynamic vintage style with black wheels and rusty forks. Heavy duty- 330 lb load capacity per caster. In addition to this swivel style, I have some with a brake to keep your coffee table, bar, or cabinet where it belongs.

I get alot of requests for casters with brakes for use on kitchen islands, tables and bars. Unfortunately, brakes are a more recent feature and weren't available on antique casters. So am happy to offer this set of ultra-cool vintage factory cart swivel casters with locks. New old stock with a rusty finish, cleaned to remove loose rust, but leaving just enough for that dramatic look we love! Each has a brake lever to keep your piece where you want it. Pristine black rubber wheels to be kind to your hardwood or tile floors.
