Ultra-rare set of 4 LARGE furniture casters with luscious, extra-thick clear glass wheels. Original swivel sleeves (extremely rare; it usually takes me years of searching to find). Faultless Caster Company of Nebraska City, Nebraska, dated November 8th, 1892.

• 2 1/2" diameter, 1 1/8" wide wheels
• 2 1/4" long, 9/16" wide sleeves

Great condition. Forks do show finish wear; sleeves show oxidation.

Still in their original 1930’s cardstock package, here’s a set of 4 swivel furniture casters. Small mounting plate to fit narrow furniture legs. Steel forks with antique bronze finish. Black rubber wheels to be kind to your flooring. Ball bearing swivel mechanism. Unused, new old stock- each caster wrapped in tissue. Diamond Arrow brand by Bassick Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Near pristine condition- excellent cosmetic and operational condition, but does show a small chipped area on the wheel hub (see highlighted area in close-up); I guarantee this will never be an issue unless being used for extremely heavy duty utilitarian use. Scoured with power wire brushes to remove all rust, hand washed, moving parts lubricated. Ready for installation.

Small circular mounting plate and thick stem make these ideal for secure mounting to slim table legs. Engineered to swivel via two small metal wheels built into the wheel assembly which roll against the circular mounting plate- a marvel of early American Industrial Age engineering. Made by M. B. Schenck & Company of Meriden, CT; marked with patent dates of 1877 to 1881.

• 1 5/8 inch diameter mounting plates with 1 3/16 inch long, 1/2 inch diameter stems

• Tapered opening measures 1 3/8 inch inside diameter at the top; 2 3/4 inches deep.

Good condition. Scoured with power wire wheels to remove loose rust, then washed. No chips/cracks to cast iron. Glass spheres do show wear.

1930s’ set of 4 heavy duty swivel stem casters. Thick cast iron wheels in steel forks. Ball bearing swivel mechanism under top plate. Although the threaded stem was designed to be bolted to a factory cart, today it’s ideal for mounting to slim table legs (an extremely rare configuration for such a heavy duty antique caster). By The Colson Company of Elyria, Ohio.

Each swivel caster has 2 raceways of ball bearings to best handle both horizontal and vertical stress. So, expect premium performance.
