Check out this ultra-cool rustic industrial coffee table by a talented Iron Anarchy caster client!

After seeing the hefty price tags for such coffee tables in the retail world, John in Pasadena, California decided to take on the project himself, sourcing the vintage industrial cart casters from Iron Anarchy. • 7/8" thick wheels
• 1/2" axle bore

Great structural and cosmetic condition. Thoroughly cleaned- power wire brushes removed rust and grime, soaked in degreaser and scrubbed again with detailing wire brushes. Ready for installation!

Pair of extremely rare 1800s’ cast iron cart wheels in an ornate spoke design with their original axle brackets. Very heavy duty, extra thick cast iron. Great condition.

Wheels: 7" diameter, 1 3/4" tread, 2 1/4” long hub with 13/16" axle bore. 6.5 lbs each.
Brackets: 6 1/4” long, 3 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” thick.

Refurbished Art Deco set of 4 vintage industrial casters. Double-wheel, swiveling and self-leveling (their wheel assembly tilts from side to side to keep both wheels in contact with uneven surfaces). Run Rite Model #8 casters- the larger, heavier duty version than the more common Model #6. By Hamilton Caster & Manufacturing Company of Hamilton, OH, dated February 5, 1921. This was a forkless and enclosed axle model designed for the textile mills of the northeast to keep fibers from clogging the axles.

David was building an industrial style display rack for his antique typewriter collection (one of which is over 100 years old!) when he contacted Iron Anarchy about casters for it. He decided on the aged 3” caster with circular cutouts in its black wheel and a dull steel housing. This is one of my most popular caster styles.

The display rack turned out great and stages the typewriters really well! What a fantastic collection! David should definitely be proud of his work. Thanks for sharing. Truly appreciate it.

Sweet! Check out this ultra-cool industrial pallet coffee table by Alexandra in Paris, France.

Alex contacted Iron Anarchy a few weeks ago, inquiring about industrial casters for her coffee table project using a reclaimed industrial pallet. She selected this aged 3” caster with circular cutouts in its black wheel and a dull steel housing. This is one of two caster styles I’ve begun offering specifically for my European shoppers due to their economical price and shipping rate.

Alex’s table makes quite a dynamic statement with its unusual shape and extra thick lumber. The custom drawers add great functionality. I also love the stamped markings! Beautiful!

Am so happy to have been able to help out Alex and am honored to have one of my products give new life to a discarded pallet.

Am super excited about the way these casters turned out!

An Illinois interior designer client contacted me for a set of vintage industrial casters for a table project. He needed them to fit a narrow table leg, have a brake, and a rubber tread to be kind to the client's flooring.

Unable to find a vintage caster that fit all his needs, I suggested a new caster in a vintage style. He loved the look, but not the bright and shiny finish. I distressed them with a wire wheel, subjected the metal to an acid bath, oxidized them, applied an antique effect to the nooks and crannies, and then a final black overspray effect to match the look of the table.....creating a very aged patina, but with the performance and features of a new caster to perfectly fit the client's needs.
