• 1/2" axle bore

Great structural and cosmetic condition. Thoroughly cleaned- power wire brushes removed rust and grime, soaked in degreaser and scrubbed again with detailing wire brushes. Ready for installation!

Pair of extremely rare 1800s’ cast iron cart wheels in an ornate spoke design with their original axle brackets. Very heavy duty, extra thick cast iron. Great condition.

Wheels: 7" diameter, 1 3/4" tread, 2 1/4” long hub with 13/16" axle bore. 6.5 lbs each.
Brackets: 6 1/4” long, 3 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” thick.

Refurbished Art Deco set of 4 vintage industrial casters. Double-wheel, swiveling and self-leveling (their wheel assembly tilts from side to side to keep both wheels in contact with uneven surfaces). Run Rite Model #8 casters- the larger, heavier duty version than the more common Model #6. By Hamilton Caster & Manufacturing Company of Hamilton, OH, dated February 5, 1921. This was a forkless and enclosed axle model designed for the textile mills of the northeast to keep fibers from clogging the axles.

Here are two examples of the 1906/1921 Run Rite caster, a rare model marketed to turn-of-the-century New England woolen mills with its fully enclosed axle to keep fibers from clogging the wheels and ensuring the factory carts Run Rite.

 I've scoured these with power wire brushes to remove rust, then hand washed and moving parts lubricated to give you another 100 years of service.

 Shoppers love the wheels encrusted with raised text. This is the only such industrial caster I know with this design aspect. The first photo shows a set with a mounting plate, while the second photo shows a super rare set with a mounting bolt- great for securing to a metal table.

 Beautifully refurbished, these are sure to add incredible Industrial Chic drama to your furniture project.

 What a great Industrial Chic look!

These are one my shoppers' favorite styles with their heavy duty construction and dynamic chunky look with wheels with flange spokes and circular cutouts.

I acquired these back East, then scoured them with power wire brushes to remove decades of thick rust and factory grime. Now they are beautiful and operate like the day they were made.

These are the iconic 1934 design from Bond Foundry of Manheim, PA. They were requested by a client who needed casters for a 500 lb. furniture piece. These have a 300 lb load rating per caster, so they'll do the job fine! Sure to add amazing Industrial Chic style!
