Three antique swivel casters- Model No. 5 by Payson Manufacturing Company of Chicago, dated May 1, 1877. Exceptionally rare, large size. Cast iron with hardwood wheels to be kind to your flooring. Small circular mounting plate and thick stem make these ideal for secure mounting to slim furniture legs.
• Will raise your piece 2 5/8 inches
• 1 3/4 inch diameter wheels in a 2 5/8 inch wide wheel assembly
• 2 1/8 inch diameter mounting plates with 1 3/8 inch long, 5/8 inch diameter stems
• Includes new wood mounting screws
Great operational condition. Cleaned- soaked in degreaser, then carefully hand scrubbed to remove dirt and grime, leaving an aged patina. Remnants of original bronze-colored finish. Wheels show minor wear, but otherwise in very good condition; wood conditioner applied. Moving parts lubricated. Ready for installation.
