Set of four LARGE cast iron industrial casters. Swiveling and self-leveling- wheel assembly tilts from side to side, keeping wheels in contact with uneven surfaces. Marked HZM Co.; I’ve never heard of this company before, nor seen a set like these in the 12 years of specializing in antique industrial casters, so these must be exceedingly rare. Circa 1880s.
• 4 inch overall height
• 3 inch diameter wheels in 5 inch wide wheel assembly
• 3 1/2 inch square mounting plates
• Almost 5 lbs each
