Full set of 4 antique swivel casters- Model No. 5 by Payson Manufacturing Company of Chicago, dated May 1, 1877. Exceptionally rare, large size. Cast iron with hardwood wheels to be kind to your flooring. Small circular mounting plate make these ideal for secure mounting to slim furniture legs.
• Will raise your piece 2 3/4 inches
• 1 3/4 inch diameter wheels in a 2 5/8 inch wide wheel assembly
• 2 1/16 inch diameter mounting plates with 3 mounting holes
• Includes new wood mounting screws
Great operational condition. Cleaned- soaked in degreaser, then carefully hand scrubbed to remove dirt, loose rust and grime, being careful to not disturb remaining original copper-colored finish (rare for it to remain intact). Wood conditioner applied. Moving parts lubricated. Ready for installation.
